Description
Come join us on a photography and sociable visit to The National Trust property at Knole, near Sevenoaks.
The cost to get into Knole is £6 or free for NT members. We are not planning to visit the Showrooms, which would incur an extra admission charge. The entrance fee does cover the Gatehouse Tower, Brewhouse Café, shops, courtyards, facilities and use of the car park in the heart of Knole Park.
The forest covers 1,000 acres of trees, woodland, valleys and parkland. We will pick a walking route or 4-5 kms through the forest exploring the veteran trees and hunt for wildlife in this Site of Special Scientific Interest. The route is not suitable for those with limited mobility.
The deer are a wild herd and an additional photographic target for your longer lenses.
We will be meeting at 1030 at the entrance to the ticket office.
The plan is to have a short post event Zoom. Send your favourite 3 images and we will share these images.
Organiser
We are the South East Regional branch of the Royal Photographic Society. We organise and run events for members in the South East region, although we are also keen to attract non-members interested in photography.
