Experiment with Sublimation Printing and Foiling in this heat press workshop by Nicole Line. This workshop is suitable for designers, students and for those who are curious about surface design for textiles. Mark making onto man-made fabrics and other materials to create layers of transparent colour, shapes and pattern using heat. A range of processes used to create your designs onto material creating hand cut stencils, screen printing and painting, transforming material with colour and texture. We encourage you to see what you have at home to up-cycle and transform through print, rather than buying something new. You are also welcome to bring your own polyester materials from home and final pieces to print onto.
Nicole Line is an artist and textile tutor based in Forest Hill, South East London. Nicole studied BA Textiles for Fashion & Interiors at University for the Creative Arts in Farnham. She holds a PGCert and Masters in Creative Education and founded Nicole Line Workshops in 2014. She teaches mixed media textiles, such as screen printing, heat press printing & dyeing. Nicole works in other areas of textiles, collaborating with community projects, corporate companies, designers and private events. She also teaches on the textiles BA and Foundation degree courses at University for the creative Arts and Kingston College.
The workshop is open to a maximum of 10 participants (age 16+) on a first come, first served basis. Attendance at the workshop costs £40 (£30 students) with all proceeds supporting STORE's After school club for local state school students.

STORE STORE is a design shop and educational space located in Coal Drops Yard and on Stoke Newington Church Street. STORE STORE hosts design and making workshops open to the public run by London based makers. All proceeds from the Saturday Workshops support our wider educational programme.
