The Engineering Geology of the Peak District
The Palace Hotel, Buxton
Friday 12th July to Sunday 14th July 2024
A Field Meeting Organised by the Engineering Group of the Geological Society (EGGS)
Synopsis
This year’s field meeting which will primarily be in the Peak District visiting classic sites such as Mam Tor. Full itinerary currently being finalised.
Accommodation has been booked in The Palace Hotel, Buxton.
The delegate fee will be Full Fellow £130, Full Non fellow £195, Retired Fellow £110, Full Time Student £90. Fee will include documentation, coach travel and lunches and the Saturday night dinner. Accommodation will be in the Palace Hotel, Buxton on a Bed and Breakfast basis, £85 single per night, £110 Twin per night.
On Saturday night, delegates will convene for a Meeting Dinner which is included in the delegate fee. Both vegetarian, vegan and non-vegetarian food will be available. Please complete the online form as soon as possible to book a place on the field weekend.
