So it's official, Twisted Fix will be throwing our last event at 27a Nelson St, Stroud, on SATURDAY 1ST APRIL 2017. This truly is the end of an era, not only for Twisted Fix, but for the future of underground music in Stroud as we know it. Since way back when, Stroud has played a serious part in the underground music movement, and we’ve worked tirelessly over the past two + years to make sure Stroud stayed that way.
Despite our efforts to keep this iconic venue alive and kicking, we simply don't have the funds to do what the landlord ultimately wants, which is a huge financial investment into the building and the signing of an extremely long lease, two things we just aren't in a position to offer.
I don't consider this as a shame, or upsetting even, I just appreciate the fact we've had the opportunity to manage such an amazing space for the time we've had. No amount of money could buy the experience gained and memory's created over the past few years.
And be assured, it's far from over :) we won't stay quiet for long & will be back with PHASE-3 in the not so distant future..

The DJs DJ, most if not all in the industry will claim Randall as one of their major inspirations. The truth is, Randall IS Drum & Bass. Nearly 25 years in the game and his selection is as impeccable as ever, still mixing as faultlessly on two turntables as he ever did, in an age where technology (Sync Buttons) evolved to a standard that lets us all mix just like him. Here is a brief history of the godfather of breakbeat…
Having been introduced to DJ’ing at the early age of 17 by a college friend, Randall’s head was turned by Acid House for the first time at 1987’s Notting Hill Carnival. From there on he was hooked, spending his money on vinyl and listening to the likes of Rhythm Doctor, Rob Atkinson, Lindon C and Mr C, all members of the legendary ‘Hypnosis’ crew... Proper oldskool Junglist right here!!!

MikkiM – producer, musician and DJ is a true pioneer in linking a great range of musical styles. His energetic music and uncompromising pumping dj sets and live shows are making people crazy all around the world. As a producer, he has already released three long-play albums, numerous vinyls and digital singles. For his second LP “Offbeat Rhapsody”, partly recorded in Jamaica, he was awarded the “Album of the year” with Czech Grammy prize in popular music awards. Following the soaring success of this album, he became the first Czech DJ to be invited to play at the world famous Glastonbury festival.
