On Wednesday 5 July textiles designer Rebeckah Kemi Apara and founder of Embellished Talk; a space to discover textiles through through digital content and creative workshops will be teaching and sharing her embroidery skills at WeWork coworking space in London Fields Hackney.
Rebeckah graduated with a degree in Fashion Textiles at the London College of Fashion in 2007 and throughout her time there perfected her skills in screen printing, embroidery and hand beading. She has since worked for Osman Yousefzada during London Fashion Week, Cynthia Rowley, Jill Stuart and Catherine Malandrino during New York Fashion Week. She's recently collaborated on an embroidery project with GURLS TALK founded by fashion model Adwoa Aboah. Her last embellishment workshop at WAH Nails in Soho was a great night filled with sparkle and zen.
During the evening Rebeckah will teach you how to apply an array of stitches on a plain cotton t-shirt. All levels are welcome and all materials and equipment will be provided. Don't worry if you're a complete beginner as you'll have the opportunity to practise on fabric first before embroidering your t-shirt.
Being able to use your hands to create is therapeutic and confidence boosting.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
