A course of 4 Hilal Dance Sessions.
Drop in weekly from September 18th.
Hilal Dance melds Arab/African traditional dance culture in an expansive and contemporary way. In this taster session we'll dance with soul, moving to engaging drum beats and a great selection of music. We will learn basic movements, dance the movements and join them up to perform dance sentences. Pauline Blackwood has been a dance facilitator since 2009 and presently holds monthly Hilal Dance sessions at The Place W1
Warm up to music Exploring scissor, spiral and pendulum walk to music Presenting a simple repeat sentences of dance to folk music Cool down Circle time discussion to finish.
Wear something comfortable like yogawear and a smile.
