Duende Pop up restaurant at Hastoe
Join us for a British and Mediterranean food experience. Three fabulous courses, plus amuse bouche for only £30 cooked by Cypriot chef Timur Zekki. A meld of exciting British ingredients and Mediterranean flair, carefully sourced either locally or from the best of small British suppliers. Always seasonal, always ethical.
The menu changes each week, and unusually for a pop up restaurant Duendeoffers three options for each course, including a vegetarian option. All to be chosen on the night.
As a Bring Your Own, it's amazing value for just £30. Bring your own favourite cheeky little number, craft beers, or whatever floats your boat. No corkage charged.
There will be an optional cheese board available each night, for an extra £6.95.
This is not fine dining, but fun dining, it's all about the flavours of unpretentious, honest cooking – the happy clatter of knives and forks.
The menu is available a couple of nights before the event for those who wish to match food and wine. You can see previous menus at www.duendepopup.com.
Time slots available 7.30, 8.00, 8.30 - the table is yours all evening.
The venue for this event is Hastoe Village Hall, a recently renovated hall donated by the Rothschilds to the local community. Hastoe is 5 minute drive from Tring High Street, about 1.5 miles.
