Did you know that the largest rum distillery in Europe is but a hundred miles from Nickolls & Perks? If you didn't, that's probably because it was only established in 2023. Founder Lewis Hayes is no stranger to the rum world, though, having established two of the top spirits bars in London, Black Parrot and Merchant House, as far back as 2014. That experience and passion led Lewis down another path, one that would result in the mighty DropWorks Distillery.
DropWorks is a rum enthusiast's paradise, adorned with every manner of equipment for every manner of rum. In this special rum tasting, attendees will be hosted by none other than distillery founder Lewis Hayes as he guides guests through the distillery's journey and their delectable rum. From clean, crisp white rums, flash-aged "spiced" rums, barrel-matured expressions, and high-ester Jamaican style bottlings, this tasting will be a superb opportunity to explore this fascinating distillery, all the while discovering some new favourite tipples!
