Get your Halloween off to a blood thirsty start!
Bring a something to siton, put on some warm clothes and enjoy an outdoor screening of The Bram Stoker inspired Classic!
Starring Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola and released in 1992, this version of the film is closely based on the Bram Stoker Novel.
The Film will start at approximately 7:45PM after the Sun has gone down.
INFORMATION
Times - You will be able access The Castle from 6PM. Please be ready and seated for the film by 7:30PM. We need it to be dark for the projection system to be at its best.
Tickets - Please bring your confirmation email with you so that our stewards can conirm your entry. This can be in paper form or on your smart phone.
Age Rating - The Film is BBFC rated as 18. Please do not purchase tickets for anyone under 18. It is an offence to allow access to anyone under the age of 18 to see this film. If you are 18, but look younger, please bring ID to prove your age. If you cannot prove your age, you may be denied access and refunds for this reason, will not be issued.
Seating - There will be no seating provided. Please bring a camp chair, or blankets to sit on.
Parking - There is strictly no car parking on the road by The Castle. Car Parking is available, you will need to drive approximately 150 yards past The Castle Entrance and you can park in the field and directed by stewards. There will be no charge for Parking. Cars parked in this area are parked at the owners risk.
Toilets - There will be toilets on site. Please use them.
Food and Drink - You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to consume during the film. No BBQs allowed. There will be hot food and drink available on site as well.
Alcohol - It is permissable to drink to alcohol at the site during the film, but please be sensible. You may be asked to leave if you are spoiling the film for other attendees.
Smoking - Moreton Corbet Castle is owned by English Heritage and all of their sites are NO SMOKING sites in all forms. If you wish to smoke, you will have to leave the site to do so.
Rubbish - There will be bins on site, please use them or take any rubbish home with you.
Stewards - All of our stewards are volunteers, please treat them with the same respect you would expect.
Health and Safety - The event is at night, so it will be dark. The arena will be illuminated, but we still need it to be dark enough for the projection system to work. The only other areas to be lit will be where you are allowed to go, toilets, entrance/exit, car park and the food area.
It is advisable to bring a torch for your own extra safety, although the stewards will be in the arena and happy to guide you to where you need to go.
Please do not try to enter or leave the arena via any other ways apart from the official walkway.
The Castle - Moreton Corbet Castle is a Historical Monument, and we ask that you treat it with respect. Please do not attempt to climb on any part of The Castle or sit on the structure.
