    Description

More comedy from our resident monthly comedy club Do you like jokes? Book your tickets now to ensure a great night out.

The September line up is extremely strong and not to be missed.

The MC for the evening is Gus Lymburn - a comedian without a rulebook both on and off stage. In an age where many audiences have come to expect much of the same kind of made-for-TV format that is seen so often, Lymburn insists that disorganisation and surprise is all part of the fun.

The opener is Keiron Nicholson, a participant in the BBC's Room To Write new talent scheme, and has written for The News Quiz on BBC Radio 4, Breaking The News on BBC Radio Scotland, Sketchland on BBC 2 Scotland and a bunch of radio comedies.

“Deceptive, inventive and very funny” – Dan Antopolski

“Delivered his geeky Glaswegian humour in a relaxed and laid back fashion… hugely funny” – The Skinny

“Very likeable and fantastic stage presence for someone just starting out… look out for him!” – Michael Redmond

The middle section includes Llarger than life Glaswegian, Chrissy Ross, acerbic with a cracking laughter ratio and Graeme Tait from Aberdeen.

Headlining is Keir McAllister. Keir started stand up in April 2004 when he entered the Dundee heat of the Jongleurs J20 Last Laugh Competition. Despite it being his first ever gig, he won and went on to win the Scottish final and found himself doing his third ever gig to over 1000 people in London’s Criterion Theatre, Piccadilly Circus. He came runner up.

For the Fringe in 2012 he teamed up with Scottish comedy legend Vladimir McTavish for the sell out show “Keir McAllister and Vladimir McTavish Look at the State of Scotland”

“…a gifted comedian destined for much bigger things…” Edinburgh Evening News

“…the excellent Keir McAllister shines with his fast paced intelligent set…” The Skinny

“…McAllister’s rapier wit is a joy to behold…” Threeweeks

“...mighty stage presence and impressively high punchline ratio...” The Scotsman
