This three hour workshop will approach pattern and game play within the long form scene and teach you how to discover, heighten and play pattern effectively. We will work on techniques of staying present and aware of the comedic potential in scenes while not getting in our heads! Learning how to mine pattern is a great tool to add to your improv skill set.
Greg Hess is an actor, teacher and improviser in Los Angeles. He is a founding member of the critically acclaimed Cook County Social Club (iO/UCB) and the Improvised Shakespeare Co. He has toured with the Second City national touring company, and taught improv the world over, including the CERN Hadron Collider. He has trained with iO Chicago, the Second City Conservatory, the School at Steppenwolf and 500 Clown. Find out more about Greg Hess at http://greghess.me
