We are very proud to welcome to the Reliance the inimitable Sicilian winemaker, Aldo Viola!

Aldo makes wine over two sites consisting of roughly 14 hectares between Alcomo and Marsala on the North Western coast of Sicily. He works with indigenous varietals Catarratto, Grillo, Nerello Mascalese, Perricone, Nero d'Avola as well as the French grape that represents his true passion: Syrah. Aldo has been a certified Organic producer since 2013, and we know of few winemakers who are so doggedly committed to avoiding the use of chemicals, pesticides and heavy-handed intervention in their winemaking. Viola wine is a true expression of the Sicilian landscape, and a vivid representation of its maker.

We will be lucky enough to taste our way through the most recent vintages of these wines on the night - perhaps with the odd surprise or two to boot - all paired up with a four-course Sicilian dinner prepared by the Reliance kitchen team. Four glasses of wine and four plates of food will cost £45 per person, and those who do not wish to eat meat will most certainly be catered for.

There will be one sitting at 7.30pm and Aldo will be holding court to tell the story of each wine as each course hits the table. We will also be serving all of the wine in the bar by the glass for our 'aperitivo' session which will kick off from 5.30pm if you want to get an early start.
