Join us on Saturday 9th October 2021 in a face-to-face meeting at Oakhill Village Hall, when one of our own members and accomplished astrophotographer Pete Richardson will demonstrate how he achieved his latest project: making 10" and 20" mirrors with a homemade grinding machine, and then building the telescopes from them! The sky at Oakhill is dark and wide, so if the weather is good we'll be able to do some observing together, maybe even with one of Pete's new telescopes.
