Death Café is an international movement to encourage conversations about death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives. With over 4830 cafes being held in 51 countries, to date, this is a worldwide conversation!
Join the first Sileby café for an open conversation about aspects of death and dying. There is no formal agenda, and the topics discussed will depend on the interests of attendees.
This is not a bereavement support group or grief counselling, but everyone is encouraged to share as much of their thoughts and experiences as they are comfortable with.
This will take place in relaxing and calming yurt tent space located in the gardens of The Green Place.
The event is free and the hire charges have been waivered for this event so please feel free to make a donation and/or take advantage of the great vegetarian/vegan menu from the cafe.
