    Description

    G&H Academy – De-coding the Dress Code

No.1 Savile Row, the iconic address in London’s Mayfair, has been home to Gieves & Hawkes since 1912. Creating the finest bespoke tailoring for over 250 years and providing the best sartorial advice to gentleman for generations, we invite you to discover this rich tradition for yourself.

Today, we welcome a discerning group of younger, international gentlemen. With these future style leaders in mind, our G&H Academy programme will introduce G&H’s unique Royal Heritage and the exquisite craftsmanship behind our luxurious British tailoring.

British social events can be a minefield for the unwary. The invitation will almost always come with a dress code which is fine if you know how to de-code the dress code. In this G&H Academy event, Rupert Wesson, Debrett’s Academy Director, will be our special guest speaker and help to de-mystify formal and informal dress codes such as Smart Casual, Lounge Suits, Black Tie, and morning suits. The puzzle of ‘What to wear’ and ‘how to wear them’ for different occasions will be smoothed out the next time you are going to networking events, charity dinners or an office drinks party.
