Disability Direct Nottingham (DDN) will be holding an Oscars themed charity fundraiser on Friday 12th October at the DoubleTree Hilton hotel in Nottingham. Our Compere for the evening will be Mark Dennison from BBC Radio Nottingham, a long-standing friend and supporter of Disability Direct Nottingham This event will combine live music with a glitzy awards ceremony and captivating entertainment. We will be holding an auction with donations from local businesses.
DDN is a small Nottingham based organisation that works and supports over 6,000 people a year with long-term health conditions and disabilities. The services Disability Direct Nottingham offer range from, benefits support, social clubs, helping people to stay independent in their own homes, transport for hospital appointments, gardening and employment support. Disability Direct Nottingham is the only service in the City of Nottingham that supports disabled people, carers, and older people.
We support individuals to volunteer and many of our services are run by our fantastic team of over 70 volunteers. These people give up their time to help others and part of this event is showing them the recognition they deserve.
We work closely with communities to tackle the issues they face but also create fun and exciting events to bring people together.
This event is going to be highly publicised across Nottingham City and County so please feel free to speak to us about sponsorship packages to promote your service.
**Please remember to inform us of your meal option and any dietary requirements two weeks in advance so the chef can cater for you.**
The evenings menu will be:
Starter:
Wild mushroom and Tarragon Pate (V)
Chicken Liver and Smoked Bacon Pate with toasted brioche
Main courses:
Chicken Breast Wrapped in Smoked Bacon with a wild mushroom & tarragon sauce
Or
Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables Filo Basket, with a cream and herb sauce (v)
Dessert Menu:
Homemade Fresh Fruit Tart with Crème Anglaise with red berry sauce

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
