The duo Darkness Falls consists of Josephine Philip and Ina Lindgreen.
Released in 2011 to much applause the debut album 'Alive In Us' and the single 'Hey!' made them the most played act on national Danish radio, but also gained attention abroad with iTunes USA indie-spotlight feature and radio rotations around Europe alongside a live-tour. With two new singles out the band are to release their second album in the beginning of 2015.
Darkness Falls create a dramatic atmospheric sound combining raw guitars, haunting synths, gritty drums and striking vocals. The combination of the raw guitar, played by Lindgreen, that has notes of Joy Division and early Cure, and Philip's mesmerizing vocal emphasizes the duality of their sound. The tempo shifts, from sorrow to action, the girls are at the wheel and there is no rest for the wicked. The sound of Darkness Falls is not easily pinned down, traditional rock influences, electronic beats merge with contemporary arrangements, creating a dynamic and varied soundscape.
Josephine Philip received international critical acclaim for her pop joint, JaConfetti, together with Ane Trolle. Philip has written and performed with several acts, such as Trentemøller, Filur ect. Ina Lindgreen has played with numerous bands for the past decade, among them the all girl ska band Favelachic, where she met Philip.
Their debut album was was produced by Anders Trentemøller and the new album is produced by Lasse Martinussen (Rosemary) and Adrian Aurelius (Raveonettes).

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Darkness Falls tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
