It's time to welcome the summer in, and The Foragers are doing it in true pagan style. We'll be serving drinks and wild foraged food seasoned with magical summer herbs. Our neighbours 40FT brewery will be pouring our collaboration brew, a beer made with sweet woodruff, the vanilla-scented herb traditionally used in Eastern Europe to bring in the summer. There'll be frolicking and fun, and a visit from the Green Man - a mythical personification of the forest.
Then, at sunset, we'll be burning a real wicker man, accompanied by merry tunes from The Princes in the Tower, our resident medieval band. To close out the night, we'll be having a pop-up screening of the original 1970s Wicker Man movie inside our mini shipping container cinema.
