Description
Cuckoo's Egg present their first Theatre show, an ambitious promenade piece that takes place across the entirety of the Unity Works building.
It's 1910 and a travelling projectionist screens his latest silent film...
It's 1955 and young couples catch one another's eye across the dancehall...
It's 1979 and the punk revolution hits Wakefield...
It's 2017 and the old caretaker guides you through a story of memory, love and the past...
The performance mixes intimate dramatic pieces, interactive monologues, short film elements, dance, projection and soundscape.
Each shows last approximately 60 minutes. Audience members must expect to be on their feet for most of this time (but don't worry, there will be plenty of breaks and no running involved!). The show can accommodate wheelchair users but we will need advance notice as it will fundamentally alter the performance.
