In celebration of Earth Day Louise Shiels and Harriet Adkin have come together to create a soul-nourishing day of cacao, sound healing, and intuitive art, intended to leave you feeling connected, re-charged and inspired in your creative flow.

This workshop is for you if … 

- You’re feeling the Spring vibes of creation, change, beginnings, and growth

- You’re looking for a space to tap into your creativity to release any blockages that may be holding you back

- You want to connect with your body, emotions and intuition to feel present and grounded

- You feel drawn to experiencing the healing effects of cacao, sound, art and letting yourself drift off into a dreamy meditative creative flow state

- You want to relax, unwind, and just be - rather than feeling pressure to do

What will happen?

We’ll meet at the lovely, light, and bright S0ma studio in Cambridge Heath and will begin with some light movement to ground ourselves and release any tension we may be holding. Sinking into our senses, we will set our intentions with the sacred plant medicine of cacao and share in our appreciation for the earth. Cacao is a gentle, heart opening plant medicine that encourages us to open, soften, release and heal. It creates space for our passionate, playful, and creative selves to rise with ease so is the perfect tool to begin our creative journey with.

Sound healing will guide us into a deep flow state with its dreamy, meditative frequencies. The sounds assists us in entering dreamlike states where we experience a heightened sense of awareness and a connection to the subtle and subconscious realms; here our creativity can awaken and flourish.

Letting our intuition lead the way, we’ll be using art materials to express ourselves – falling into a delicious creative flow that is all about embracing the process, not the outcome. Art is a tool for healing that asks us to show up as the beautifully imperfect beings that we are. Choosing materials and colours that resonate, emotions will flow through us freely onto a blank page to birth an art piece that is an authentic expression of how we feel in the present moment.

Any emotions that come up during the workshop are welcome  – this is a safe space to feel and let your creative expression unfold.
We'll bring the session to a close with some tea, biscuits and integration time.

What to bring?

We will be providing yoga mats, cushions, and art materials, however:

- Feel free to bring a blanket for added comfort

- Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in and be creative in (we recommend avoiding white or light coloured clothing)

- A bottle of water and any other snacks - we will be providing herbal tea and biscuits as a sweet treat to enjoy at the end of the workshop

About your guides

Harriet is an Intuitive & Sensual Visual Artist, Coach and Practitioner of Somatics, based in London. Throughout her life, she has turned to the arts as a tool for healing. Art helps her surrender control and exist in a peaceful state of flow with her emotions. As a creative spirit and deep feeler, Harriet is passionate about helping people connect with their intuitive bodies and emotions to experience true freedom, by using creative tools to strengthen the mind/body connection. Louise is a Sound Healing Practitioner, Yoga Nidra & Cacao medicine guide. She holds nurturing spaces for groups and individuals to slow down, find embodied connection and experience more peace and well being. She has been on a deeply transformative plant medicine journey since 2014 and offers groups the opportunity to experience gentle plant medicine ceremonies to explore and connect to the bodies’ wisdom and process the stories that are held there towards integration and wholeness. CONSIDERATIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS:

- Cacao contains theobromine which stimulates the system much in the same way as caffeine can. If you have a sensitivity to caffeine then please consult with me and we will discuss giving you a lower dosage.
- Cacao can react with anti depressants causing headaches so please let me know if you are on any medication before booking and we can discuss you having a smaller dose : )
