For National Inclusion Week 2021, we wanted to dig into the heart of transformational brand campaigns and explore why DEI featured in the most outstanding work at Cannes Lion in 2021. This talk interrogates why DEI won Grand Prix and Titanium in so many categories, including innovation, brand experience and mobile.

Meet with one of the leading thinkers in this space, Efrain Ayala, Global Director of D&I, Marketing Excellence at Reckitt and discover why inclusion is crushing it beyond creative excellence into the core of business strategy.

Efrain is the Global Director of Diversity & Inclusion, Marketing Excellence at Reckitt, based in the company's Amsterdam HQ. Originally from Chicago, Efrain built his career at Ogilvy where he led engagement planning on the SC Johnson business and translated brand/creative strategy into digital consumer marketing. Efrain joined Reckitt in 2015 where he established and led social strategy for its portfolio of brands in the US

Ali Hanan (she/her/hers) is the CEO and Founder of Creative Equals - an award winning global inclusion consultancy that grows inclusion, diversity and equity within workplace cultures. Using data and insight, Creative Equals improves creativity, innovation inclusive campaigns within their client cultures to achieve commercial success by reaching more customers and building meaningful relationships with communities.

Stephanie Matthews (she/her/hers) is an inclusion and diversity consultant who believes in equity for all. As Senior Business Director for Creative Equals, she works with global brands who want to embed long-lasting systemic change into their business practises and brand DNA.She's regular keynote speaker on the international and local stage, has been recognised as a BIMA Champion of Change in 2021, and has a book due to be published in 2022.
