Description
Dante or Die invites theatre-makers to join a two-day intensive site-specific devising workshop. Co-Artistic Directors Daphna Attias & Terry O’Donovan will explore methods of creating new work based on their decade of experience devising original performances in a variety of site-specific contexts.
The workshops will offer participants the chance to explore and create in an incredibly inspiring building in the heart of London’s West End. Stone Nest, a Grade II listed building, is former Welsh Chapel and church and was once home to iconic nightclub Limelight. We will spend two days moving, writing, improvising and designing audience journeys around the building.

The workshops are open to professional or in-training theatre artists of any discipline interested in a collaborative process. Spaces are limited to 15 people.
Key areas that the workshop will explore are:
- Placing site at the heart of the work
- The role of your audience in site-specific performance
- Physical storytelling moving through spaces
- Creating robust narrative in site-based theatre
