In this fun workshop, participants will receive some cover brief ideas to work on and learn the basics of illustrating a children’s book cover. Topics include thinking about format, layout and composition, experimenting with scale, conveying the storyline through your illustration. This workshop is very hands-on and low-tech: We’ll be working by hand and you will be able to use the principles learned and your illustration as a guide for creating a finished piece of work that you can set up into the desired format on Photoshop or In-Design.
