COOKEY

Following another successful sell-out at Hampstead Jazz Club in February, he's back again back by popular demand. Sodi Cookey is an established UK artist whose music is a fusion of Soul, Jazz and Blues and draws audiences time and time again with his engaging storytelling and thunderous vocals.

London born Cookey, spent much of his childhood growing up in the musical melting pot of Port Harcourt Nigeria and returned to London in his youth to captivate audiences with his eclectic and powerful voice. His incredible range and charismatic passionate performances draw the audience into a story of passion and depth.

A self-confessed music junkie his influences are diverse and eclectic, His powerful songs are a unique blend of Neo Blues Jazz . The son of a musician, singing has always been part of his life.

Cookey is a powerful story-teller through his songs, where the lyrics mirror his own life experiences.

Be prepared for an amazing musical journey that delights and surprises with the powerhouse that is Cookey.
