This free 1-hour masterclass with Dr Diane Bunn is focused on conducting systematic reviews and critical literature reviews.

Diane is Associate Professor of Nursing Research at the University of East Anglia. Her core areas of research are hydration care for older people and impact of infectious diseases in care homes, using a range of different methods. She adopts collaborative and inclusive approaches, working alongside care home residents, staff and the wider multi-professional team in her research.

In this Masterclass, Diane will be talking about systematic reviews: what they are, and why they are considered important in informing evidence-based care in care homes.

This masterclass is part of a series of events by the QNI’s Community Nursing Research Forum and is open to all community nurses interested in research.

Other Masterclasses in the series:

- 4th March, 1pm – 2pm – Masterclass: Developing research questions (w/ Dr Alison Richardson and Isobelle Madden)

- 15th May, 1pm – 2pm – Masterclass: Choosing appropriate research methods (w/ Dr Clare Jinks)

The Queen’s Nursing Institute is a registered charity dedicated to improving the nursing care of people in the home and community. We promote excellent nursing care for everyone, where and when they need it.
