We are thrilled to announce an upcoming comedy night at the iconic Winter Gardens Pavilion in Weston-super-Mare. We wanted to personally invite you to join us for a side-splitting evening of laughter and entertainment.

On Saturday 5th August, we have lined up an incredible lineup. Talented comedians who are guaranteed to leave you in stitches. Get ready to experience the comedic genius of Freddy Quinne. Matt Richardson. Brennan Reece. and Nick Page, all under one roof. This promises to be a night you won’t want to miss!

MC – Freddy Quinne

Based in Manchester, Freddy Quinne is an award-winning comedian known for his uniquely northern observational humour. He has achieved significant recognition in the comedy scene, including being crowned the Winner of the Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year in 2013. In addition, he was a Runner Up in both the Frog and Bucket World Series and the Crooked Smile Comedian of the Year in 2012. Quinne’s performances are characterised by cleverly crafted, well-placed gags that have earned him praise from the Lancashire Evening Post. Combining his quick wit with a vulnerable persona, he creates a truly distinct comedy experience that captivates audiences. Quinne’s willingness to engage with the crowd, going beyond his set, adds an extra layer of engagement and ensures a memorable performance. With his frenetic energy and raw emotion, Quinne’s stage presence is described as a tour de force by Alex Boardman.

Matt Richardson

Matt Richardson is a multi-award winning stand-up comedian and one of the most exciting names on the circuit currently rising through the ranks. Having started stand-up in 2009 at 18 years old, Matt became one of the youngest comedians on the circuit and soon made it through to the finals of two national stand-up competitions – the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny and the Chortle Student Comedy Award – as well as coming runner up in the Reading Comedy Festival New Act of the Year and winning the Newbury and Bath Comedy Festival new act competitions ‘ – all while still in his teens. He quickly established himself in all of the major comedy club chains in the UK and has gigged overseas on countless occasions.

Since then Matt has firmly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting young performers and presenters – hosting the drive-time show on Virgin Radio. His TV credits include co-hosting the Xtra Factor alongside Caroline Flack, Co-Hosting Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live! Alongside Christine Lampard and helming the live spin off show alone, two one-off documentaries for ITV2 – Pampered Pooches, Hollywood and Meet The Family Guys, a series regular role on Viral Tap (ITV2), Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Celebrity Juice, Sweat The Small Stuff, Big Brothers Bit on the Side, Fake Reaction, Its Not Me It’s You, I’m a Celebrity Get Me out of here Now! and countless other shows.

In 2013 Matt headed out on his first ever award-winning tour ‘Hometown Hero’ in 2013. It was to 54 dates into spring 2014.

He’s brash, slick and full of mildly laddish but self-deprecating stories, all delivered with an irresistible twinkle. Richardson may be full of self-confidence but he’s got broad appeal to back up the cockiness.

Brennan Reece

Brennan Reece is a highly acclaimed comedian who has appeared on popular television shows such as Live At The Apollo (BBC), Celeb Coach Trip (E4), and Roast Battle (Comedy Central). With a working-class background and a knack for wordplay, Brennan has earned multiple awards, including a nomination for Edinburgh Best Newcomer and the title of English Comedian Of The Year. His performances combine stand-up comedy with storytelling, showcasing his unique talent as a wordsmith.

Despite his success, Brennan remains a self-confessed mummy’s boy, adding a touch of endearing vulnerability to his persona. He has made notable appearances on Survival Of The Fittest (ITV), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV), Live At The Comedy Store (Comedy Central), and even had a memorable stint on Top Gear (BBC), which garnered over 6 million views on YouTube. A true Northern voice and a deep connection to his family, Brennan’s relatable humour is sure to win over audiences, and your mum is bound to be a fan (in a non-perverted way, of course!).

Nick Page

With some comics there’s a moment where you ask yourself ‘I wonder how much of this is true?’. Nick Page you might hope it isn’t true, but somehow know that it is, mostly. His shows are full to bursting with stories from a life lived on the edge of (self inflicted) disaster.

In his shows there are no songs, props or padding, just stories packed with jokes from start to finish. The Guardian Newspaper described him as ‘ A bear like man with a host of barely believable stories about life. Love and brushes with the law’.

In the last few years he has won the prestigious title ‘English Comedian of the Year’, performed at comedy festivals in 3 continents and been awarded the Operational Service Medal by the British army for numerous gigs in warzones, doing everything from shows in Camp Bastion and Kandahar for 5000 troops at a time, to being helicoptered to perform for 20 soldiers in a patrol base in the desert.

He’s reached the live finals of Britain’s Got Talent despite having never watched the show. A typical week in the UK might see performances in pubs and theatres before a weekend run at a comedy club. Between cruises and expat bookings he’s now performed in over half the world’s countries, and even kept busy during covid lockdown performing over 100 online gigs from a studio in his garage.
