Description

Hey Guys,

Come and experience what is becoming London's BEST Comedy night in Shoreditch. The night will be held at Cafe1001, a venue situated in the Brick Lane area, one of the most famous and most vibrant destinations in London.

We hold monthly comedy nights, every second Thursday of the month at Cafe1001. A look inside the venue (back room)

The venue is walking distance from Aldgate East or Shoreditch High Street tube station. If you are driving, you will find FREE parking on Brick Lane after 7pm. The event starts at 8:15pm, doors opening at 7:30pm. Cafe1001 offers a discount on drinks between 7pm-8pm.

Jimmy James Jones

Jimmy James Jones is a comedian/actor/radio presenter, star of ITV2's pranksterz and sorry I didn't know, Host of the infamous New Act Night at the Comedy Cafe and you can hear him every Monday night on MKFM On his very own 'the jimmy james jones' show Starting out in musical theatre, he played the role of Audrey 2 in little shop of horrors, Teen Angel in Grease, was in a production of Buddy Holly playing the MC and many more! He then went onto perform stand up comedy and since he's started he has opened for Russel brand - toured Norway - started his very own night in Milton Keynes called 'it's just jokes' and was the host of the famous new act night at the comedy cafe theatre where the likes of jimmy Carr daniel kitson and many others started! With his infectious stage presence and crazy close to the edge material how can you not enjoy the force that is the man with three names Jimmy James Jones


Josh Berry

Josh Berry is one of the next big names in British comedy. An impressionist who's introduced us to Fake Andy Murray, Not Real Daniel Radcliffe and Almost But Not Quite Gordon Ramsay. You'll hear him on the radio loads across the day, but it's never his real voice. We're not sure he even has a "real voice".

Sheraz Yousaf

In June 2012, Yousaf became a stand-up comedian and has been performing since then. He is based in London and has performed all over the UK including venues in London, and also spent time abroad in Los Angeles and San Diego. During his time on the comedy circuit, he has performed in clubs such as Jongleurs, the Comedy Store, Downstairs at the King's Head, Bearcat, Laughing Horse, Backyard Comedy and Soho Comedy. He has also been filmed for the "Laugh Out Loud" show on BritAsia TV and, more recently, on the BBC Asian Network comedy show in January 2016.


Joe Jacobs

Joe Jacobs is a London based comedian, rapper and writer. Since 2012, he has performed nationally and internationally, sharing bills with acts including Bill Burr, Stewart Lee and Mr. Motivator.

Joe’s live shows effortlessly flit between hip hop and comedy and he’s been seen/heard on Channel 4, BBC Radio 4, BBC 6 Music, Radio 1XTRA, plus gained millions of viral video views online. In 2017, Joe took Ripe to the Edinburgh Fringe where it received critical acclaim.
