Join us for drinks and laughs as we host a Night of Comedy at Austin Sports & Social Club. Featuring some fantastic talent with headline acts from TV’s Live at the Apollo.
Rachel Jackson – Award winning Scottish actress, comedian and writer. Winner of The Herald Scottish Culture Award ‘One to Watch’ prize. Trained at Rose Bruford. Nominated for The Spotlight Prize. Nominated for best new comedian at The Scottish Variety Awards and The Scottish Comedy Awards. Played Wendy in ‘Beats’ with Steven Soderbergh as executive producer. Played Donna in Karen Gillan’s ‘The Party’s Just beginning’ which went to TriBeCa Film Festival, Glasgow Film Festival and was nominated for best film at The Scottish Baftas.
Roles in TV Shows such as ‘Outlander’ ‘Still Game’ ‘Two Doors Down’ and ‘Scot Squad’ Wrote and starred in ‘Bunny Boiler’ a 6 part mini series for BBC Three. Did show of same title at The Edinburgh Fringe. Has written three solo shows and has performed everywhere from the UK to Berlin, Beijing, NYC, Tokyo and LA. Written and performed in sketches for BBC Scotland, BBC Writers Room and Channel 4.
Brennan Reece – Brennan Reece is a bright young rising star who burst onto the comedy scene after winning English Comedian of the Year in 2015.
The following year he was nominated for the prestigious Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for his sell- out debut show Everglow. Brennan is becoming a regular on screens across the UK having appeared on Live at the Apollo (BBC), Comedy Central at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV), Roast Battle (Comedy Central) and Life Lessons (BBC).
He has also featured in everything from popular TV shows like The Comedy Allstars (ABC), Skins (Channel 4) to feature films such as Soulboy, a film about the Northern Soul underground scene and was also a presenter on Top Gear Extra Gear (BBC) Brennan has supported Jason Manford, Rob Brydon and Joe Lycett on tour and his 2017 solo tour Everlong was extended into 2018 due to a hugely popular sell out run. This bright young comic from Manchester is being tipped for the top!

Ash Preston – Eccentric and very high-energy, Ash has performed all over the UK and internationally in Germany and The Netherlands. Selected for Best in Class 2019 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Leicester Comedy Festival Circuit Breakers 2020.
Fat Theo – probably the biggest name in West Midlands Comedy. Anthony John Paul Theophanous IT’S HUGE! Sharp observational comedy, hilarious stories of his life with brain damage, as a married father of two.
