From Live at the Apollo, The News Quiz and Fighting Talk. A little slimmer but still as “belly laugh funny”
(Manchester Evening News), everyone’s favourite northern charmer takes a break from his current UK tour show to headline Comedy @ Chorlton Irish Club!
Wayne Deakin headlines all the big Australian clubs and tours across North America but is based in London ("It’s just simple economics. Britain’s where they’ll spend every red cent they’ve got on booze and entertainment.” ) His amiable, laconic style works to draw you in but there's plenty of biting social commentary here too, so Wayne will have you both laughing and thinking. Wayne is currently campaigning to have Prince Phillip made Prime Minister.
"My jaw hurts from laughing, that was funny!" Beat
Andre Vincent was born May 1964 in Woolworth's Department Store Penge, and has not stopped appearing in the most unusual of places since. A new chapter opened in his life after visiting an Orlando comedy club and deciding to give it a go. The pinnacle of this journey was opening for Bob Hope in Columbus, Ohio in 1992. With his head swelling and his tongue tripping one-liners, he returned home to conquer the comedy circuit of the U.K., and in no time at all established himself as one of the top stand-ups in the country today.
"An improvising comedy genius" The Guardian "Ferociously funny" Sunday Times
