I'm running the London Marathon this April in aid of brain injury charity Headway Jersey, and to support my fundraising effort, I'm holding a number of charity events in Jersey - the first being a super special Club Kamikaze party celebrating the iconic sounds of the Big Smoke. That's right, 4 great bands performing not only their own repertoires of original brilliance, but also the songs of legendary London artists.
There'll of course be plenty of DJs on hand during the evening providing a Londoncentric soundtrack, from indie to electro and ska to skiffle...

One of the finest bands to have emerged from these shores in recent years, Brave Yesterday's melodic power pop-tinged rock has been seen and heard on the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury and the Main Stage at Jersey Live, and now it returns to the Havana. They'll be performing hits by garage rock pioneers THE KINKS!

RIffs, riffs, riffs. That's what Howl are all about. Taking their cue from guitar heroes Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age & Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, who better than Howl to pay homage to the mighty WHO!

► THE LITTLE BIG BAND!
We're delighted to welcome much-loved veterans of the Jersey music scene, The Little Big Band, to Club Kamikaze for the first time. Regularly seen playing soul & blues music with a big band twist, they'll do being all that and more at the 'London Calling' as they doff their caps to the nuttiest of nutty boys, MADNESS!

Comprised of former members of The Author, Velofax, The Valentines and The Centeniers, Vagus are quite simply one of the best new bands to appear on the Jersey scene in some time, their psychedelic krautrock stylings nodding to the likes of Kraftwerk, Can, Neu and Faust. They will, naturally, be bringing to the party their take on Cockney legends CHAS & DAVE!
