Join us to explore what the role of wild places is in tackling the climate crisis and how you can take climate action by caring for wild places. We will explore the impact of climate change on nature, and a range of actions both direct and indirect which you can take. Aimed at John Muir Award providers, but also anyone working in outdoor learning - teachers, leaders and practitioners.
Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
Who are we?
John Muir Trust
The John Muir Award is an environmental award scheme focused on wild places. It helps people connect with, enjoy, and care for wild places on your doorstep and further afield. The John Muir Award is for participants working at later stage of primary education and beyond – including adults looking for outdoor learning staff / personal development tools. The Trust has also created a Family John Muir Award that welcomes involvement as a family unit and can include all ages and abilities.
Information for participants:
- After you have booked your ticket, information about how to join the webinar will be emailed to you closer to the event.
- The information you provide will be stored in our system to allow us to manage your booking. Our Privacy Policy can be viewed at www.johnmuirtrust.org/privacy-policy.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Climate Action - a role for wild places, and for you! tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. Where do I find a link to an online event?
