The flu isn’t usually a breeding ground for anything except for germs, but for London singer Obenewa, it sparked something unexpected: creativity. While sick in bed, she started nonchalantly singing some lyrics acapella. Unbeknownst to her then, that melody would go on to become “He,” Obenewa’s powerful debut solo offering.
