Claymation workshop

Feb 15 2018 09:00 - 15:30

Southover Hall, St James St, BN7 1HR Lewes

Intermediate/ Advanced ages 9 – 15

Children will learn what makes a clay model easy to animate, and discover the different kinds of
movements that animation clay naturally suits. They will then create their own large scale clay
models using wire armatures, putty and facial expressions. Finally they will animate their characters
focusing on how to achieve natural character movement and how to evoke personality through
movement. By the end of the day children will have produced a professional claymation character to take home and use in animations and a sequence of animation using this character.

After you have bought a ticket you need to fill out the link found in the order confirmation email, this is important because it is a booking form which assists in arrangements for the workshop.
