Swedish singer and songwriter Clara Green joins the house quartet to share an eclectic selection of jazz standards, Swedish folk songs and originals.
The quartet features Will Bartlett Piano, Nico Beedle Violin, Julie Walkington Bass and Pat Davey Drums. This pub theatre is one of the best atmospheres in London, and the pub is one of the best too.
The band will play 2 sets, with an interval about 8.50.
Growing up in Stockholm, Sweden, Clara began her musical education early, performing solo and in choirs from the age of six.
After being immersed in the classical and choral world in Stockholm, Clara moved to London in 2005 to complete a degree in Jazz vocals at Middlesex University, under the tutelage of many prominent UK jazz musicians; such as Nikki Iles, Stuart Hall and Chris Batchelor.
As a solo vocalist, Clara has her own songwriting project, with which she released EP 'On The Run' in October 2014. Clara is currently working on a new project; a jazz quartet with pianist Bruno Heinen, double bassist Andrea Di Biase and drummer Riccardo Chiaberta. The group performs a mix of innovative arrangements of jazz standards with Swedish folk songs and Clara's own compositions.
