Introductory class for growing herbs in urban spaces (small gardens, terraces/patios, balconies). We'll show you the basics of growing herbs in pots, containers and planters.
You will learn:
- correct soil mixes for growing herbs in containers
- how to grow herbs from cuttings of existing plants
- how and when to harvest herbs
We'll also be touching on the properties of some of our favourite herbs that are growing at the Bee Garden and you'll get to pick your own fresh herbal tea to taste.
Ticket price includes: light refreshments, your take-home herb cutting and informative handouts.
Please arrive from 6.45pm, the workshop will start promptly at 7pm.
