Description
Join us on Wednesday 18th December 2024 at 7pm for an evening carol service, with music from the Choir of St Cuthbert's Church directed by Quintin Beer, followed by mince pies and mulled wine at St Cuthbert's, in aid of St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital's sight-saving work in Gaza. Tickets are free, however a collection will be taken for the Eye Hospital.
Over the next 12 months, SJEHG urgently need to raise £6 million to re-establish vital eye care facilities in war-torn Gaza. One year after suspending services in Gaza due to the most dreadful of conflicts, SJEHG is once again urgently providing safe and effective eye care to 1,000 patients each week. However, continuing this essential work is not possible without your support.
The Guild would like to thank all our supporters, volunteers, and sponsors for their very considerable backing during the year. Challenges for the Hospital Group are wide and varied and knowing that the Guild community are in their corner from another part of the world gives them strength.
All donations following the service will be donated to the Eye Hospital. We hope to see you there!
Please note, you do not need to select 'add-on services' for an extra fee at checkout, this event is free to attend.
