‘Whimsical Family Tree’ by Jeongyeon Kim
The "Family Tree" workshop, led by Jeongyeon Kim, invites participants to explore and document their family history in innovative and unconventional ways. The aim of this workshop is to create a unique family record that goes beyond traditional formats, offering a fresh perspective on how we understand and represent our familial connections. Through a variety of creative activities, participants will beencouraged to reflect on their heritage, share stories, and develop a personalized family tree that captures the essence of their lineage in a new and meaningful way. This workshop is an opportunity to reimagine the concept of family, fostering deeper connection to one’s roots and a broader appreciation for the diverse ways we can express our family histories.

Kingston Heritage Service is part of Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames Council. We operate across two sites: Kingston Museum and Kingston History Centre, as well as in borough wide partnership projects.
