    Children's Workshop: Composing for Voices

    Join Horizon Voices for an interactive workshop all about making music for voices! During this extended workshop, we will be exploring different composing techniques used in a range of songs and choral pieces, as well as composing a BRAND NEW piece of music together. 

    Led by artistic director and music education specialist James Rhodes alongside a team of fantastic professional singers, we invite your children to this day workshop to enjoy exploring, listening to and interacting with vocal music from a range of classical and contemporary styles.

    Timings:
    11.30am - 1pm Session 1 (Introductions, warm ups, composing activities)
    1pm - 1.30pm Lunch (Please ensure that your child brings a packed lunch)
    1.30pm - 2.45pm Session 2 (Composing activities and preparing new piece)
    2.45pm Informal performance and recording of new piece to family and friends
    3pm - End of workshop, parents to collect children
