Description
Members of FTL Committee together with Jay Diamond (Sacred Women Tribe) host a day of Yoga, Meditation, Massage and other well being therapies to raise money for Caring for Claire Campaign.
At 35 years of age, Claire is undergoing various forms of treatment for a rare and aggressive type of renal cancer that has spread from her left kidney to her lungs and now to her brain. Needless to say Claire is often in pain and under the effects of her medication. Despite the brave smile you may see on the surface and the occasional picture on social media, Claire’s struggle is real and Claire once a primary school teacher is now unable to work. This particular event has been set up by a group of friends and volunteers all of whom will be donating their time and skill in order to raise funds for Claire's ongoing alternative treatment and care.
On Sunday September 11th at Brady Arts & Community Centre, we host a day of well being treatments given by professionals at a reduced charity rate to raise money for Claire's Campaign.
