Llama Pop is proud to present the launch show for Catherine Okada’s debut EP ‘Hourglass’ to be released in October 28th.
Catherine Okada and her band recorded the first half of the EP at Hackney Road Studios with the fantastic Shuta Shinoda, whose other recent works include that of Ghost Poet, Daughter, Anna Meredith and many more. The second half was at Goldsmiths Music Studios with the fabulous Nick Powell and John Atterbury.
Expect to hear scatterings of nostalgia and strong hooks married with contemporary, alternative songwriting, often with dark lyrical undertones and powerful imagery.
