Over 11 million users have opted to receive his weekly email, he has his own prime-time ITV show and is resident expert on many others; and writes columns in The Telegraph, Sunday Mirror and a range of other newspapers.
He has spearheaded major financial justice campaigns including bank-charges reclaiming (over seven million template letters downloaded) and PPI reclaiming (over six million) and a successful large-scale campaign to get financial education in schools. Recently he founded and now chairs the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute charity. He was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in June 2014 for his contribution to consumer rights and his charity work.
