Doc'n Roll Film Festival Presents: EXCLUSIVE LONDON PREVIEW SCREENING

Plus Q&A with director Christine Franz hosted by Simone Marie

Join us at this special event with Simone Marie (Primal Scream) DJ warm up set!

BUNCH OF KUNST

Thanks to their sweary rants about modern England, Nottingham duo Sleaford Mods have been called “the angriest band in Britain”. At 44, former chicken factory worker and father of two, Jason Williamson, his band mate, beatmaker Andrew Fearn, and their manager Steve Underwood, a bus driver for Nottingham City Transport and avantgarde bedroom label owner, have won over fans with their brutally honest lyrics and DIY ethos. “Bunch of Kunst” tells the story of three guys taking on the music business on their own terms.

Simone Marie is the bass player for Primal Scream and also presents an afternoon radio show on London's Soho Radio. She is also a DJ and has previously worked with Doc'n Roll Film Festival hosting Q&A's.

About Doc’n Roll Film Festival

Doc’n Roll Films Ltd., set up in 2013, is a music documentary production, distribution and exhibition company, unique within the UK. Projects include Doc’n Roll Film Festival, the UK’s annual music documentary festival, as well as one-off London premieres, curated seasons, and a UK regional touring programme in Brighton, Liverpool, Hull and Manchester.

They are passionate about independent film and music across all genres, and celebrate music subcultures by providing a platform to support their cinematic expressions. They provide their audience with the opportunity to watch these films as they were designed to be watched - LOUD.

They launched Doc’n Roll Film Fest in 2014, to finally show some love to the under-the-radar music films that have been largely ignored by risk-averse film programmers. Post-screening Q&As, DJ sets and live music themed on the films add to the overall cinematic experience.
