BUILDING BAUBLES WORKSHOP
To kick off the festive season, come and take part in an architectural Christmas decorations workshop! Through a newly developed digital process London’s iconic skyline can be scaled to become a bauble hanging on your Christmas tree. Papercast is a modeling technique that allows us to turn 3D scans of London into paper objects. In the workshop each participant will choose from a range of meticulously mined London icons and assemble them into lightweight Christmas tree decorations.
The Bakerloos are an experimental design studio, founded in 2016 by Johanna Just, Ness Lafoy, Agostino Nickl and Chris Delahunt. They invent methodologies, processes and tools to approach the built environment through the power of collaboration and collective imagination. The Bakerloos run Unit C at Oxford Brookes University and have produced several award-winning competition entries. They run workshops at the Bartlett School of Architecture, the RIBA, Al-Faisal Univeristy and elsewhere.
