Join us to learn how to build your own Jar Terrarium. Your ticket includes a glass of wine (or alternative drink) plus snacks and nibbles!
Come and build your own self-watering garden in a jar. Learn about the history of terrariums and their relevance to the Victorians, London and the tea trade as well as the science of terrariums how to care for them as well as the ideal plants to fill them with. You will be provided with everything you need to create your own terrarium, we will have a range of plants for you to choose from including Fittonia, Ivy and Moss as well as a jar and a variety of pebbles decoration. We will guide you through creating your own terrarium which will be all yours to take home at the end of the session.
The workshop will be held in the lovely, private and covered heated terrace at Unwined in Waterloo. The space is cute and planty and your ticket will include a glass of wine, beer or soft drink as well as a selection of snacks and nibbles.
You will leave with a care guide for your terrarium, as well as all the information you need to know to make more terrariums as we know they can be quite addictive!
How big are these and how do I get them home?
They are H22cm x W15cm . We will provide a neat, green bag for you to take your terrarium home in.
What are my transport options getting to the event?
Unwined in Watrerloo is situated on Lower Marsh - just a 5 min walk from the main entrance of Waterloo station, or a 2 min walk from Lambeth North underground station. There is paid parking nearby on Frazier Street, which becomes free after 1pm on Saturdays.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, if you are unable to attend tickets can be used by someone else. Please contact us directly if you are unable to make it on the day and we will try to fit you onto another workshop.
