Jar Terrarium Workshop

Join us to learn how to build your own Jar Terrarium at the Change Please Academy/Old Spike Coffee Roastery in Print Village, Peckham. Enjoy some lovely, free filter coffee too! 

Learn the history of Terrariums, how to care for them and the ideal plants to fill them with. You will be provided with everything you need to create your own little ecosystem, we will have a range of plants for you to choose from including Fittonia,Ivy and Moss as well as a large sealable glass jar. We will guide you through creating your own terrarium which will be all yours to take home at the end of the session. This is a great individual or group experience for anyone who wants to learn some new indoor gardening skills.

You will leave with a care guide for your terrarium as well asu all you need to know about how to make more terrariums as we know they can be quite addictive!

We will be hosting this event at the Change Please Academy/Old Spike Coffee Roastery. They are our neighbours at Print Village in Peckham and roast award-winning coffee on site as well as providing barista training to homeless people. The coffee is amazing and you will be free to help yourself to some of their delicious filter cofffee as part of your ticket!

It is not at their other cafe on Peckham Rye.

Once you enter Print Village from Chadwick Road you will find Change Please in the second unit on your left (unit 5).

By train

Peckham Rye overground station is a 5 minute walk away. 

By car
Enter Print Village from Chadwick Road. Usually there are parking spaces available on weekends in front of Unit 10/11 that you will be able to use. There are also paid parking bays on Chadwick Road. If you have any trouble parking come and see us and we will help you.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, if you are unable to attend tickets can be used by someone else. Please contact us directly if you are unable to make it on the day. If you need to transfer your ticket to another date, we require 3 days notice in advance of the event. 

How do I get them home?

We will provide a green plastic bag for you to take your terrarium home. Although, if you have a bag you can use please bring it along and save the plastic!

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
