Description

Demijohn Terrarium Workshop

Join us to learn how to build your own Demijohn Terrarium at Thrive Battersea.

Learn the history of Terrariums, how to care for them and the ideal plants to fill them with. You will be provided with everything you need to create your own little ecosystem, we will have a range of plants for you to choose from including Fittonia and Moss as well as a large sealable glass jar. We will guide you through creating your own terrarium which will be all yours to take home at the end of the session. This is a great individual or group experience for anyone who wants to learn some new indoor gardening skills.

You will leave with a care guide for your terrarium and a tote bag to carry it home in, as well as all you need to know about how to make more terrariums as we know they can be quite addictive!

We will be hosting this event indoors in the beautiful Battersea Park at Thrive Battersea. Thrive offer gardening programmes to more than 200 Londoners in four fantastic gardens in Battersea Park, as well as various outreach projects in the wider community.

The Main Garden on East Carriage Drive is where the workshop will be taking place. Thrive also sell an amazing range of very reasonably priced houseplants so it's worth coming along a bit earlier and checking out the gardens as well as perusing the plants (you'll probably want to bring an extra bag!)

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.
