Terrarium Workshop
Join us to learn how to build your own Bottle Terrarium.
Learn the history of Terrariums, how to care for them and the ideal plants to fill them with. You will be provided with everything you need to create your own little ecosystem, we will have a range of plants for you to choose from including Fittonia, Ivy and Moss as well as a sealable glass jar. We will guide you through creating your own terrarium which will be all yours to take home at the end of the session. This is a great individual or group experience for anyone who wants to learn some new indoor gardening skills.
These bottles are smaller than our Demijohn bottles at 20cm tall, but make a really cute decorative piece for your home. We will provide all the tools and guidance you need to make a gorgeous terrarium, even if you have no gardening experience at all.
You will leave with a care guide for your terrarium as well as all you need to know about how to make more terrariums as we know they can be quite addictive!
This event is taking place at Unwined, Waterloo.
We will run the workshop in their lovely planty, covered and heated terrace and you will be seated following COVID 19 regulations in table of up to 6 people. Drinks will be available to purchase from the Bar and we will have the venue all to ourselves!
In the event that the workshop has to be cancelled due to Covid-19 rules, you will have the option of:
- Rescheduling to a future date (no expiry date)
- Receiving our 'DIY Bottle Terrarium' Kit - With instructional video'. Normally £45
- Refund minus booking fee

What are my transport options for the event?
Unwined in Watrerloo is situated on Lower Marsh (137 Lower Marsh, London SE1 7AE)- just a 5 min walk from the main entrance of Waterloo station, or a 2 min walk from Lambeth North underground station. There is paid parking nearby on Frazier Street, which becomes free after 1pm on Saturdays.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, if you are unable to attend tickets can be used by someone else. Please contact us directly if you are unable to make it on the day.
How to I get my terrarium home?
We will provide a plastic bag, but we recommend bringing a more sturdy bag along with you if possible.
