Silverstone hosts the sixth event in the 2015 BTRA British Truck Racing Championship on August 8/9 – and judging by the action in the Brands Hatch season-opener we’re in for some full-throttle thrills!
The BTRA truck meetings retain the all-action five race format that has proved so successful over the past two seasons; that means ‘split grids’ (with the slower Division 2 trucks starting several second ahead of the sophisticated Division One machinery) – and within the two packs the grids are reversed too!
It certainly keeps the drivers on their toes – and it means there is guaranteed non-stop entertainment for spectators as the quickest drivers have to battle their way to the front – fending off rivals within their own class while having to contend with a stream of continuous traffic!
