Welcome to the registration site for this year's BRITISH DIATOMIST MEETING. The 2016 meeting will be held at PRESTON MONTFORD FIELD STUDIES CENTRE near Shrewsbury.
REGISTRATION FEES
We have strived to keep the costs for this year's meeting as low as we can, and we are pleased to offer 3 accommodation options:
- Shared accommodation **STUDENTS ONLY** = £134
- Shared accommodation = £154
- Single accommodation = £174 (currently listed as sold out - PLEASE CONTACT FOR MORE INFO, MORE ROOMS MAY BE AVAILABLE)
The above registration fee includes: 2 nights accommodation, breakfast (sat/sun), lunch (sat/sun) and evening meals (fri/sat) and unlimited tea and coffee.
CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS - ORAL & POSTER
We strongly encourage everyone to submit a title to be presented as either an oral or poster presentation. We would particularly like to encourage students to present their research - the BDM is a great meeting, with a very supportive audience, and this gives students early in their career the chance to present to a knowledgable but friendly audience. All student presentations are eligible for consideration for the John Carter Diatom Prize!
