Description
Britain voted to cease their membership of the EU Friday 24th June 2016. This is posing a lot of challenges for international operating companies in the UK including their staff.
Many questions are arising as a result, whether you are operating as an international company or as foreign nationals living in the UK. Questions have included:
- How could your business operations and markets change?
- How will this restrict movement of labour and will this impact on your suppliers?
- Do you understand what the Government is planning to do or how you could influence it?
Many negotiations lay ahead between the Government of the UK and the EU. Not much can be said yet as to how it will pan out, but it is important to start to develop a strategy and identify which tools are available to ensure you can prepare for the road ahead.
This event brings together two leading lawfirms from Britian and Denmark and representatives from the British Embassy Copenhagen and the Danish Embassy London to discuss this further. Not to discuss policies! But to detail how they move ahead and how they will support trade and investments between the UK and Denmark. As a Chamber of Commerce it is important we can continue to support the trade between the two countries.
